Unique Relief Treatments for Hemorrhoids

Cranberry is a good relief treatment for hemorrhoids. It’s readily available from grocery stores and easily prepared. Just gather enough of it to make 3 to 4 tablespoons when blended. Don’t add water so the cranberry paste will have a firm texture. Put the paste in a small clean cheesecloth, wrap it up into capsule form and insert it a bit into the anus. Secure it into place by wearing tight underwear.

Let the cranberry paste in cheesecloth stay in the anus for an hour. Then substitute it with a new batch. Do the same procedure in the afternoon. If we think it necessary to do it a second day then we may do so, also twice that day. This treatment for hemorrhoids gives quick relief.

Another procedure is with the use of oil made of a Geranium-Lavender mixture. Get a dropper and mix 2 to 3 drops of lavender with 1 to 2 drops of Geranium. Mix this with an ounce of oil made from almonds. Mix well and then use a dropper to put enough on our fingers to gently rub around the area of the anus. Do this as often as we need relief treatment for hemorrhoids. Remember to just rub enough of the mixture. Don’t use too much of it.

Garlic or onions may also be used. Just make sure that the hemorrhoid is dry—without blood or open wound. This treatment brings relief from swelling, infection, and improves vein health. Just carve the onion to the size of a small suppository and insert it into the rectal area.

If we opt for garlic (slightly more powerful) we just need to peel it and then inserted into the rectal area. This treatment for hemorrhoids is automatically removed as we move our bowels in the morning.

There’s also the use of liquid lecithin as treatment for hemorrhoids. Apply topically on the hemorrhoid itself once or twice a day, according to the severity of the need. We may do this daily until we get complete relief. We may also use ice packs wrapped in cloth and gently compressed on the hemorrhoid for a quick soothing effect.
