Conical hats village is a place for visitors

Hat-making village Phu Cam (also Phuoc Vinh) lies on the southern bank of the An Cuu River in the heart of the former imperial capital of Hue. It is a

traditional village famous for its conical hats the way for hundreds of years.

Phu Cam-hats do look graceful, soft and thin as silk. Hue in the poem or even can feel the clear through the hat in sunlight. Women take more time to make

the iron frame and leaves young girls before May. Beauty and grace of a hat depends much on the frame (with 16 brims from the hem to the top). Artisans

been absorbed into the songs and folk music. Today still use the hat of the young girls to shade their heads in the sun and to make them more graceful in the

traditional Ao Dai (long dress).
